WARNING:
Always use ANSI APPROVED EYE PROTECTION when operating texture gun.

MIXING TEXTURE:
To mix texture add small amounts of water to Joint Taping Compound or Hamiltons Ready Spray Texture and use a paint mixer with a drill motor. Mix to a smooth consistency, about the same as pancake batter.
Strain mixture into a five gallon bucket. Texture stored this way will last up to one month. Do not mix the texture to thick. (Do not use fast drying mud or dry powder texture.)
Keep trying different thicknesses until you find one that matches the texture on the wall best. Turn the tip clockwise a little more and you can spray knockdown texture. Be careful when adjusting the tip, only a
fraction of a turn can change the pattern.

SPRAYING TEXTURE:
Fill plastic jar of sprayer about one inch from the top with texture. You are now ready to spray. Practice on scrap piece of drywall, box or brown paper.
Slowly turn the brass spray tip clockwise until you get an orange peel texture, then continue to slowly turn the spray tip to spray knockdown texture. If you desire a heavy knockdown, then change to the
knockdown spray tip and repeat slowly turning the spray tip to achieve a heavy knockdown texture. You can also try spraying over the drywall twice for a heavy knockdown texture.
Turning brass tip counterclockwise will decrease texture flow and increase air for a light orange peel. For acoustic spraying change to the largest spray tip and use dry acoustic material that you mix with water.

CLEANING YOUR TEXTURE GUN:
WARNING: DAMAGE TO SPRAYER MAY OCCUR IF PUMP IS NOT CLEANED AFTER EACH USE.
Use water to clean sprayer. Disconnect air pump from main body and set aside. Disassemble plastic bowl, rubber tube, adjustable tip, nose piece and mixing tube. Rinse all parts with water and dry. Do not
leave texture in sprayer overnight or in direct sunlight, it may make cleaning your texture gun very difficult. If this happens, remove air pump from sprayer, disassemble main body parts mentioned above and soak
in water overnight. The next day hose off all parts, dry and reassemble. Do not get water inside air pump. If water does get inside air pump, open both sides, pull out plunger rod by handle and clean out
tube with paper towels. Re-oil and reassemble pump.

MAINTENANCE:
Lubricate with 3-5 drops of LACO HI PERFORMANCE OIL every week or as needed. Place in oil hole in end cap and then pump several times to distribute oil evenly.
Do not use WD-40. WD-40 will damage o-rings and seals.
